WD Capital
Privacy
What we keep, on this origin, in Vietnam. We do not rent the list.
If you create an account we store your phone number, a password hash, a display name, and later a membership if you pay. We do not store card numbers. VietQR is a bank transfer to the newsroom account.
If you join the HCMC brief we store the email you typed, the time, and the IP used to submit it. The desk can see that list. We do not sell it, and the footer copy is not a joke: no list rental.
Comments store the text, your name as shown, and an IP used against abuse. Held comments are not public.
Cookies: wd_lang (English or Vietnamese), wd_access (reader session, eight hours), wd_desk (staff only). The language cookie is how the paper speaks. The access cookie is how a pass unlocks a file on the server, not in the browser.
Logs and an append-only audit trail sit on the origin. Payment order references are stored so a pass can be matched to a transfer. We do not use a foreign ad-tech pixel to build a shadow profile of Vietnamese readers.
To ask what we hold, or to close an account, write the desk from the number on the account. The origin is in Vietnam.
