Stripe is a fine machine for a company that bills in dollars from Singapore. It is the wrong machine for a newsroom whose readers pay 15,000 dong from a phone that already holds Vietcombank, MoMo, or ZaloPay.

VietQR is a NAPAS payload: bank, account, amount, a short order code. The money hits the newsroom account. There is no foreign acquirer in the middle, and no reason to leak the invoice to a QR image host abroad.

The honest part: NAPAS does not ring our server when the transfer lands. An editor still marks the pass paid, or a local bank-watcher does. That is the price of staying on the national rail.

If we later add MoMo or VNPAY as a merchant, those keys will sit next to VietQR. They will not replace it.

A paper that files Vietnam and then asks for a US card has already told you who it thinks the reader is.

Nếu sau này có MoMo hay VNPAY merchant, khóa nằm cạnh VietQR. Không thay nó.
